Later year model (2016, 2017, 2018) Volvo XC90 vehicles are plagued with brake problems. Specifically, the brakes squeal when applied. Volvo Car USA, LLC is aware of this issue and has issued technical service bulletins (TSB) to address these brake problems. However, it appears that the suggested repairs in the TSB’s do not fix the brake issues. These brake issues effect both the front and rear brakes on the XC90s. A Volvo XC90 vehicle purchased in California with these brake issues may qualify for remedies under the California Lemon Law.
